It's Official!
We will now be holding classes to raise awareness and educate the community on plant-based food, herbs,
spirituality and bodywork.
Classes will be announced via social media platforms to include WIX Spaces.
To make the greatest impact in our community, many of these classes will be free.
But we welcome donations to support our efforts with how we show up.
We are 501(c)(3) certified so all charitable donations are tax deductible.
Every little bit counts.
Past Events
These on-going weekly meetings at Your Path To Living Well will be focused on supporting our community with health and wellness-related topics. This classes are FREE to the community and offer an opportunity to connect with health practitioners in the field.
During this 2-day class, students learned an ancient way to uncover imbalances in the body. And work them out of the body.
This one day event allowed us to connect with the community one out of the 2 grocery stores available in the city. The focus was around showing healthier options to shop for along with sharing recipes to make cooking at home an easier and financially stable task. With over 15 attendees, we were able to take them shopping and spend quality time discussing food and the benefits of it.
For 4+ hours we showed the community how to cook plants! We had an appetizer, a few main dishes and vegan bacon that was more like a dessert (due to the taste as well as when it was served-cooking hiccups, lol). With approximately 30 attendees for this event, the feedback we received was AMAZING and well received.
On July 29, 2023, we hosted Petersburg's 1st Vegfest! The city SHOWED UP and SHOWED OUT! It was amazing! From the cooking demos, Dr. Morris' discussion on food, Yoga with Belinda, RVA Fitness Warriors, Iskcon of Richmond's performance, over 25 vendors, we've been asked to make this event an annual event. We intend to make that happen. Thank you to the vendors, donors and the volunteers! Visit the tab VEG IN THE 'BURG and follow the movement @vegintheburgva to be apart of the change!
We were invited to create a Relaxation Space for The Mocha Court 2023 annual ball. We offered chair massages (RiLaks2Njoy), soundbaths (The Breathe Bar) and aromatherapy (Your Path To Living Well). The space was the highlight of the event and everyone that stopped in wished that they could stay all day.
This was a good day. A great day. An amazing day. We had the honor of offering chair #massages to the volunteers that were working at this HUGE community event in Emporia VA. This event served over 400 people in the community and we provided over 35 chair massages to the medical team caring for the community. Everyone loved the experience and it felt good to be a part of something phenomenal.
We partnered with Elijah's Purpose to help collect funds, giftcards and food cards to be donated to Bon Secour's NICU. All funds and cards collected were donated to the families in need while they were spending time with their babies receiving care in the local hospital. To learn more about how you can help visit their website today.
In December, we wanted to show support for The James House. We collected coats, clothes, shoes and socks to provide to the women, men and children. The love shown from the community was AMAZING and the families that received the donations were thoroughly grateful.
This event was a partnership with Little Creek Fung Ku in which local businesses came together to collect winter clothes for the community. There was such an abundance of blessings, alot of the items were then gifted to local organizations to continue the giving. ( Dec 2020)
For the last two years we'd partnered with The Community of Consciousness (COC) to present to RVA The Black Vegan Experience. This is an annual event where the vegan and vegan-curious community come together and connect. People understand the benefits of a massage. We got a chance to allow them to experience it for just a few minutes.
We were honored to be apart of a fundraiser for The Women Veterans Interactive Foundation (Richmond Chapter). During this 2 Day Conference, we shared tips and resources around holistic health with the attendees and provided 2 services at no-cost for a their raffle winners.
We partnered with Walnut Hill Elementary School to allow the kids an opportunity to have a special Christmas. The school worked with Social Services to be able to deliver the toys to the families that was in the most need.
